RU FUN!

A whirlwind week of radical fun - unschooling style! It was awesome to meet so many fantastic people - we all had an amazing time. 16 unschooling families handing out together on Salt Spring Island - how could it now be wonderful!?

I enjoyed the many poolside conversations...amazing discussions for sure - especially the great drink recipes exchanged (and sampled). Yummmm. Lots of laughter, a few tears and wonderful, joyful, loving, free, happy, shiny people!!

We are already planning next year's trip and making sure that Christopher will join us for the whole week too!


Some of our favourite things - the pool and hot tub, tye-dye funshop, beach house boogie, friends, tubes, ice, hot showers in the campground, neighbours, video-games, international freezie day....with lots of freezies! Fairy doors, making hemp bracelets, purple starfish, a swimming snake, lots of smores around the campfire and the sing alongs complete with awesome RU FUN songbook. And the great RU FUN t-shirts!

My camera battery was malfunctioning most of the time - but I managed a few photos which I will find and post. The great time is burned on my brain...no need for photos!

Home from Life is Good!

Still landing back on earth after an amazing time at Life is Good - no one wanted to come home (okay...my hubby was ready to sleep in his own bed again) but the kids would have stayed forever! We are slowly returning to "real life" - including still working at unpacking the van...
The 5 days at Life is Good were awesome and we are all glowing - our spirits renewed! There were so many awesome people - friends old and new. Will post some pictures soon!
